Who we are

This website is run by Worken LLC d/b/a Worken Structures ("Worken Structures," "we," "us"). We are an independent authorized dealer of steel buildings: we help you design and price your building, and the manufacturer builds, delivers and installs it. Questions about this policy go to contact@workenstructures.com.

What we collect

What you give us

• Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address (optional), install ZIP code, building type, size, timing and anything you write in the notes, including a build sheet and a link to your design from our 3D designer if you send one.
• Your choice about calls and texts: whether you checked the optional box agreeing to calls and texts, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date, time and internet (IP) address of the request, so we have a record of your consent.
• Messages you send us by email or text, and details you give us while we prepare your quote or order, such as your install address and site details.

What's collected automatically

• Technical data: our hosting and security provider processes standard information such as your IP address, browser and device type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Spam check: when you use the quote form, a security check from our hosting provider may look at browser and device signals to tell people from bots. It does not show you ads.
• No ad tracking: we don't use advertising cookies, social media pixels or cross-site tracking. If we add website analytics, we'll update this policy first.

What stays on your device

The 3D designer saves your design in your browser's local storage so it's still there when you come back. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us unless you send it with a quote request. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Share links from the designer contain only the building design (size, walls, doors, colors and what you'll keep in it), never your name or contact details. Anyone you send a link to can open that design. The site & permit packet is made in your browser, and "See it in your yard" builds the 3D model on your phone; neither is sent to us.

How we use it

• To prepare your quote, answer your questions and follow up about your building.
• To place and manage your order with the manufacturer, arrange delivery and installation, and help with warranty or service questions.
• To keep the site and our systems secure and to stop spam and fraud.
• To keep business, tax and legal records, and to meet legal requirements.

Who we share it with

• The manufacturer that prices, builds, delivers and installs your building, so it can do those things.
• A financing or rent-to-own company, only if you ask us to connect you with one.
• Service providers that run our website, security, email and business accounts for us, only as needed to provide those services.
• Others when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business (the buyer would be bound by this policy).

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.

Text messages

• Optional: we text you only if you check the box on our quote form, or text us first. Agreeing is not a condition of buying anything.
• What we send: messages about your quote, order, delivery and installation. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Stop anytime: reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also email contact@workenstructures.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Your mobile number stays with us: we don't share or sell mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Without your consent we won't send you automated calls or texts. We may still reply to your request by email or with a personal phone call.

Email

If you give us your email with a quote request, we send you a confirmation right away with links to your design. We email you about the quote you asked for and your order. If we ever send marketing emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe, and we'll honor it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and order records as long as we need them to serve you, follow up on warranty questions, and meet tax, accounting and legal record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. We never ask for card or bank numbers through this site, by email or by text; deposits are paid through a secure payment processor. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so please don't send us sensitive information like Social Security or account numbers.

Your choices

• Ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@workenstructures.com. We may need to keep some records the law requires.
• Stop texts anytime by replying STOP.
• Your browser's "Do Not Track" setting: we don't track visitors across other websites, so the setting doesn't change anything here.
• If your state gives you additional privacy rights, email us and we'll honor them as that law requires.

Children

This site is for adults buying buildings. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Other websites

Links to other websites, including lenders' and manufacturers' sites, are covered by their own privacy policies.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
